This is the best toasted bread I have ever tasted Gluten free or not, it has a great flavor. Add a ¼ cup of cheese to this loaf and you have my favorite Cheese bread. Buy a 4″ round cookie cutter and you can make a cheese bun that is amazing. It is one of our best sellers. Each bag should make or 5 or 6 cheese buns, fill the cookie cutter ¾ full and bake for 25 to 30 minutes at 350.

Instructions

Stir 1 tsp sugar into the 1 cup warm water add yeast (21/4 tsp or a packet of instant yeast. Let rise.2) In large bowl mix egg, vinegar, add yeast water, beat slightly, add dry Mix bag. Beat until well blended. Put mixture into greased bread pan. Cover bread with damp tea towel .3) Place loaf in warm area (Top of warm oven or in a sunny window let rise for approximately 25 – 60 minutes or until it is level with top of loaf pan. 4) Bake at 350 F for approximately 45 to 55 minutes. Do a knife test, let cool.

  • 21 x 11 x 6 cm Bread pan.
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 2 1/4 tsp dry yeast
  • 1 egg
  • ½ tsp vinegar
